2. The Cosmological Argument. In preparation for this question review the article by Saint Thomas Aquinas and the responding article by David Hume in the course readings package. (25 marks)

3.The Teleological Argument. In preparation for this question review the articles by William Paley and the responding article by David Hume in the course readings package. (25 marks)
In your own words, provide as precise, detailed and convincing a formulation as you can of the Teleological Argument for the existence of God. Provide what you understand to be the best criticism of this argument. Explain why it is the best criticism.

4.The Logical Problem of Evil. In preparation for this question review the articles by Mackie and Peterson in the course readings package. (20 marks)
In your own words, provide as precise, detailed and convincing a formulation as you can of the logical problem of evil. Provide what you understand to be the best criticism of this argument against the existence of God. Explain why it is the best criticism.

5. The Paradox of Omnipotence. This question is a little more advanced. It requires a close reading of the Mackie article in the course readings package. (10 marks)
Explain what Mackie means by the paradox of omnipotence. Do you think it provides sufficient reason to reject the existence of God. Explain why or why not.
